Dogs at the seaside

With the dog on the beach

There are five supervised beach zones in De Haan-Wenduine. From June 1st to September 15th, dogs are temporarily not welcome between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, as well as in the dunes and the sea. Only the Vosseslag and Harendijke bathing areas (due to only one entrance) allow dogs to walk through with a short leash to reach the bathing area where dogs are allowed. De Haan-Wenduine beach has more unsupervised than supervised zones, so you're sure to find a spot where both dog and owner feel at home. In these areas, four-legged friends do not need to be kept on a leash.

Dog owners must have a dog poop bag that can be disposed of in the street bins or in the dog poop waste bins.

Our cottages allow a maximum of two large dogs or four small dogs. Feel free to request an additional dog without obligation.

Sinterklaas celebration with reception at the harbor

• 2 p.m.: Welcome at the harbor with the arrival of the boat carrying Sinterklaas and his "zotte Pieten" (crazy helpers). A cheerful Sinterklaas procession with musical accompaniment will lead to the Casino.
• 3 p.m.: Crazy Piet show "Silence is golden" by the non-profit organization Artbij.

Sinterklaas is very pleased, because the Pieten have done a fantastic job. That's why Sinterklaas wants to organize a surprise party. Green Piet gets the honor of leading the party. Only... she's not allowed to tell the others about it. Will Green Piet be able to keep a very important secret? And can she organize a surprise party without the others knowing? Or will they just get really curious? It promises to be a musical Crazy Piet show full of humor and, above all... lots of misunderstandings.

Tickets available at the entrance. €10 for members (with a membership card) and €15 for non-members. Children 3 and under are free. Discount for UiTPAS Regio Brugge (discounted rate). Free surprise for children (12 and under).

Our prices including tax are based on the current market value of the rental. The following is not added: Final cleaning: 70 euros Deposit per week: 250 euros Consumption of electricity (0.35 euros per kWh) and water (10 euros per cubic metre). Consumption varies from family to family.
